Hello Eliot! I’m a computational social scientist working on a PhD in Sociology, and in the house I advise on class diversity and the social sciences. I made way to sociology through interdisciplinary degrees that can be distilled into psychology and computer science, and most of my research pre-Harvard was focused on higher education policy at the intersections of economics, psychology and education. I worked in a range of industries before starting my PhD, and am happy to chat with anyone interested in thinking about non-profit work, higher education administration and/or policy, project management, or a career in research outside academia.

At Harvard, I'm currently writing my dissertation (focused on psychosocial and financial stressors, higher education, and depression) and teaching in the Psychology department. Beyond work and Eliot, I love staying active (as a former Stanford rower, the higher intensity the better, though I'm also trained as a yoga teacher), enjoying craft chocolate, testing out new plant-based recipes, and hanging with my cat, Elle. I am nearly always happy to chat, whether about important life decisions or the newest internet meme -- please feel free to reach out.  I look forward to meeting you!
