Anushka Patel

Hey there =) I am a clinical psychologist, and I work on developing scalable psychotherapies for trauma survivors in low-resource settings globally without access to care. I am particularly passionate about addressing the toll of gender-based violence, and I conduct my original research in India. I’m thrilled to be continuing at Eliot House, and I’ll be serving as your resident CARE tutor and the International Student tutor. 

I am passionate about connecting with people to nurture an inclusive and kind community. Not only that, I promise that baked treats will feature heavily in this equation. I hope you’ll feel welcome to use me as a resource/support for all things that adjusting to college brings up. Or just hang out – I love reading, writing, hiking, painting, and I can pack a mighty good picnic (yes, even in Cambridge’s capricious weather). I look forward to building this warm community alongside you!
