Apoorva Dixit
Apoorva Dixit was born in Bhopal, India, and raised in Memphis, TN. She graduated from Dartmouth College with an Anthropology major and Public Policy minor. She spent a year back in Bhopal on a Fulbright grant, researching the collective memory of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. She then spent a few years in life sciences consulting at Putnam Associates in Boston, where she worked on COVID vaccine cases in the lead up to FDA emergency approval in 2020 and on DEI. She started law school at Duke Law, where she released a 7-part podcast she co-created called They Knew Which Way to Run and gave a TEDx Talk, both based on her Fulbright research. She is now at Harvard Law School, interested in storytelling advocacy, criminal legal reform, and movement lawyering.
